MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION

The Heartsong’s Gala is the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s flagship fund-raising event in Washington, DC paying tribute to Mattie J.T Stepanek, MDA’s infamous Goodwill Ambassador. Mattie lived by the motto that if he could travel the world, he would teach peace. KDC worked in conjunction with MDA, event planners, and local businesses to rebrand the event’s annual theme to focus on global tourist destinations. The first year of the updated event raised the bar by receiving over $1.5 million in one evening.
